New additions to MIDCAN's HD Services also include: Sony's900R HDCAM camera with full movie support package, HD Cine Style lenses, Panasonic Varicam HD; Panasonic HDX-900 DVCPROHD camera, Panasonic AG-HVX200 HD P2 solid state camera; HD Closed Captioning; and 2 new Avid Adrenalin HD edit suites, to supplement our existing AVID SYMPHONY NITRIS HD system. We have also just completed installation of 6 AVID Media Composers on a shared storage system allowing multiple editors and assistants to work on one project at the same time.

MIDCAN is the full HD service provider for 5 feature films shot in Winnipeg in 2006 for RHI Entertainment of New York. Services include: the new Sony F900R HDCAM camera package & support equipment; HD down conversions; 3 AVID offline edit suites with LANShare shared storage; dialogue and 5.1 sound effects editing; Dolby 5.1 mix; AVID NITRIS HD online conform and colour timing; HD closed captioning; DVD authoring and duplication and post management services.
